As a native of Friendsville, Maryland and a graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry, Dr. Sisler was eager to return to the beautiful area of Garrett County and give back to the wonderful state that she grew up in. The friendly, small-town vibe and ability to make a positive impact in the community is what drew her back to this area.

Dr. Sisler’s commitment to community service and outreach has taken her as far as Guatemala in order to provide dental care for the underserved. She was humbled by her first visit as a dental hygiene student, and she felt very blessed to be able to return to the country once again in 2015 as a dental student. Dr. Sisler feels fortunate to have chosen a profession that helps improve people's lives by restoring dental health and improving self-esteem. She truly values her patient relationships and takes pride in being able to take the time to educate others about oral healthcare and prevention. In order to provide the highest quality of dental care possible, Dr. Sisler takes part in several continuing education courses throughout the year on various topics of dentistry. She aims to stay current with the latest techniques and services. She is also involved in several professional dental organizations, such as the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and Allegany-Garrett Dental Society.

 

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Dr. Sisler, her husband, Ben, and their four children enjoy spending time outdoors and taking in the beautiful scenic views that Garrett County has to offer. One of their favorite family activities is skiing. Her other hobbies include traveling, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.
