Meet Dr. Holly Sisler
As a native of Friendsville, Maryland and a recent graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Morgantown, I was eager to return to the the beautiful area of Garrett County and give back to the wonderful state that I grew up in. The friendly, small-town vibe and ability to make a positive impact in the community is what drew me back to this area.
My commitment to community service and outreach has taken me as far as Guatemala in order to provide dental care for the underserved. I was humbled by my first visit as a dental hygiene student, and felt very blessed to be able to return to the country once again in 2015 as a dental student. I feel fortunate to have chosen a profession that helps improve people’s lives by restoring dental health and improving self-esteem. I truly value my patient relationships and take pride in being able to take the time to educate others about oral healthcare and prevention. In order to provide the highest quality of dental care possible, I take part in several continuing education courses throughout the year on various topics of dentistry. I aim to stay current with the latest techniques and services. I am involved in several professional dental organizations, such as the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and Allegany-Garrett Dental Society.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
My husband, Ben, our children Leena, Quinn, and Emerson, and Dog, Daisy, enjoy spending time outdoors and taking in the beautiful scenic views that Garrett County has to offer. One
of our favorite family activities is to go skiing. My other hobbies include traveling,
watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with my friends and family.

Meet Morgan, Dental Hygienist
After finishing the Dental Hygiene program at Allegany College of Maryland in 2016, I began my career in the surrounding areas. I feel fortunate to have accepted a Dental Hygienist position in my own hometown with Dr. Holly Sisler in 2019.Throughout my career, I have learned to place an immense amount of value on oral health care as it directly affects quality of life and overall well-being. Luckily for me, I take pride in learning new things and taking on challenges which is helpful in the ever-changing and advancing field of dentistry. I strive to be a thorough, yet gentle, and kind-hearted hygienist because our patients deserve nothing less! Being a dental hygienist is both rewarding and satisfying for me as I send my patients home with a brighter smile!
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
My home is tucked away into the peaceful and scenic mountains of Savage River, which makes spending time outdoors a must! My husband and I share a love for hunting, fishing, and spending time with our Australian Shepard, Kimber. I also enjoy traveling, listening to live music, cleaning, gardening, home improvements, and having a campfire on a cool evening. And it doesn’t stop there; You can also catch me serving tables at Penn Alps Restaurant! I could not ask for a more supportive and close-knit family to teach me the finer things in life
Meet Kat, Dental Hygienist
Helping people improve their overall health as well as their oral health has always been a goal of mine throughout my career. Working in the dental field has quickly shown me how rewarding my job is when a patient is confident in their smile and oral hygiene! I am thankful to be apart of such a hard-working team who will stop at nothing to provide patient-centered care to our community. As I was finishing my dental hygiene degree, my family and I decided to move away from Frederick county to Grantsville in 2018 to be apart of the small-town lifestyle. The beautiful mountains and welcoming community has made me excited to meet every single one of my patients and hear their stories as I leave them with a shining smile!
I completed my bachelors degree in dental hygiene at University of New England in Portland, Maine and plan to attend dental school in the near future to earn my Doctorate of Dental medicine. Throughout my undergraduate program I was able to use my skills and knowledge to provide optimal dental care to underserved populations in rural Maine. I will always value getting to know my patients and building relationships to ensure people feel comfortable with improving their oral health and daily lives!
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
My home, as we call it the “Mountain Laurel Cottage”, is hidden in the woods of Keyser Ridge. I love taking my two Cavalier King Charles spaniels, Chloe and Luna, for long walks through the town of Accident. And you can also find me working as a part-time lifeguard/pool operator for the CARC at Garrett College on the weekends! My family and I enjoy the outdoors of our backyard and are avid runners and bikers. You may casually spot us strolling down the Great Allegheny Passage from time to time.

Meet Brittany, Dental Assistant
Growing up, I always knew I wanted a career that would allow me to help people. I held jobs as a cashier and a waitress until I figured out a career path. I finally decided I wanted to be in the Dental field, and I began working as an Assistant in 2013. I have completed Dental Assisting programs at Hagerstown Community College and The Hygiene Associates in Rockville, Maryland.
I love being a Dental Assistant because I am able to help patients build confidence to overcome their dental anxiety and make their appointments stress free. I am proud to have a part in helping patients achieve a smile they love. I am so excited to be working with Dr. Sisler, and I look forward being able to meet and help every patient that comes in to see us.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
When I’m not working, I love being with my husband, our two daughters, and spending time with our families. I enjoy cleaning, drawing, reading, and crafting.
Meet Ashley, Office Manager
I’ve called Somerset County home my entire life. It’s where my family planted roots, taught me the value of hard work and I learned to put up with six months of winter and the occasional ray of sunshine. After graduating from Meyersdale Area High School in 2009, I decided I wanted to stay in the area where I would continue to gain experience and knowledge in the work force and be with the people I love the most. In the beginning I mainly worked in customer service holding jobs such as a grocery store clerk, burger king and pizza shops, etc. Each job taught me something new, and the importance of dealing with the public.
When I was 18, I accepted a position at Western Maryland Health Systems in Telecommunications where I continued to work for 3 years. My previous jobs had a lot of face to face interaction, but this particular role taught me a lot about how to be helpful through verbal communication only. From there I was afforded the opportunity to work for Rockwood Insurance Company as a Claims Adjuster, where I worked for 6 years. As a Claims Adjuster I learned prioritization, an even greater level of perseverance and a collective knowledge on customer service both face to face and over the phone. Each job has introduced me to wonderful people and friends that I hope to have forever.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
I am the proud aunt of two boys, Colten and Jase whom I love more than anything. My family and I are extremely close and I cherish that every day. My husband and I built our first home in Grantsville, Maryland and we have a Boxer puppy "Harley Grace" whom we love and spoil very much. And, we welcomed our 1st child "Lela Rose Lowdermilk" in March 2021.
Some of my favorite things to do are spend time with family and friends, curl up on the couch with a cup of coffee and a good movie, travel to tropical places, decorate for the Holidays, clean and balance a busy but relaxing lifestyle.
What I’ve learned up to this point in my life is that nothing is guaranteed. So, take advantage of opportunities given to you and never lose your faith.

Meet Nikki, Front Desk
Garrett County has been my home most of my life until I met my fiancé and recently moved to Allegany County. While attending high school, I was a member of the FFA and Allied Health Program, which is where my interest in the health field started. I completed my CNA certificate and began working at the Western Maryland Health System Hospital. Moving into the dental field has allowed me to continue to provide care to patients as well as learn a new side of the health field. I look forward to meeting everyone and getting you a smile that you love.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
I love spending time with my fiancé and family. I don’t know what I would do without their love and support. I am the proud aunt to Addalyn and Brantley. My fiancé is a volunteer firefighter at our local fire department so we spend a lot of time at the Fire Station. When we are not at the firehouse we like to hunt, fish, and just be outdoors. I also like to craft a variety of things with my Cricut machine.
